In the event of an accident there are a number of things that you can do to ensure that your claims process runs smoothly.

1. Stay calm.

2. Do not be drawn into arguments or disagreements with other parties involved. Deal with contacting the relevant authorities and exchanging the relevant information instead.

3. Take note of the other party(ies) involved - name, address, contact numbers, vehicle registration numbers, insurance details.

4. Ideally you should not move the cars until an independent witness can verify their positions.

5. Take note of the event - weather conditions, prevailing circumstances, events leading up to the incident, position of cars prior to and following the incident.

6. Contact Autodex to arrange for the repair process to begin.
